Thanks for your comment. Although you have the right idea that you should eat protein--lettuce doesn&#039;t have a significant amount. Some non-meat sources of protein that you can add to salads would be beans, lentils, eggs, edamame, or chunks of tofu. There are tons of fun combinations to try! </description>

		<description>Just a note on the salad idea with the caveat &quot;don&#039;t forget to add protien&quot;... ummm... the salad already has protein - veggies have protien too!  Especially the dark leafy greens. 
I am no vegetarian, but I am a big fan of the idea that you should try to get more of your protien from non-meat sources - much healthier! </description>

		<description>I work nightshift and bring my own food because we don&#039;t have access to dining or machines.  So I bring a a dish of dry cereal in warm weather, cooked oatmeal in summer and an apple, banana and a baked potatoe along with anything that I can think of to add to them.  Tonight for something different, and because the building is hot, and dry, I brought a Greek salad and a serving of crutons previously fried in olive oil. I get tired cooking for myself, but I must cheer myself up and plan ahead to eat healthy. Maybe you could lay out or tell your Dear husband what is available to eat have him pack his own lunch thereby releiving you of the burden of doing everything.  Of course if he needs mothering, look at the foodnetworks infinate number of ideas:)</description>
